semi fixed: Toofake build & run issue #128

Its works if you run it locally.

It means you need to run it on your computer. It's pretty easy if you have npm installed on your computer. Just download the repository and open the command prompt in that folder then run 'npm i' then 'npm run dev' If you dont know how to do any of that then I suggest you just wait until its fixed.

Okay so basically 7 hours ago retoheusser did a pull request in which he explains what the issue was and a fix to it. The owner of toofake will probably merge the pull request as soon as he can for now just wait or use another bereal client.

Neither online version nor running it on local machine with updating the dependency after yesterday's changes

Can someone explain what the exactly causes the login issue? It's really frustrating that it doesn't work, but it's even more frustrating not knowing why.

I cannot really tell as the login has never worked with my phone number. Not now, nor in the past. Seems like some countries' phone numbers work and others don't.

Nah, I can't make a video, but there's really not special steps involved for this project. Let it run as you would build & run a docker container for any other nodejs application, I'm sure the internet is full of videos for that. The PR has already been merged, so no need to check out the specific branch, main is enough.

Does anyone here know if there is any chance that the login error can be repaired? For many users it hasn't worked for a few weeks now. Maybe the creator of toofake could try to fix it?

Should be fixed for some supported phone numbers right now. It was an issue with a recent PR & my deployment. I'm not sure if it works for non US phone numbers as I can't test and don't have time to investigate.

yeah german phone numbers still not working. Has nothing to do with deploy, since as I said, locally it doesnt work either
