A more general issue would be that courts are only coded by the location of their buildings, but not by the area which they cover. Both are certainly interesting, but for most research agendas I would expect the latter to be more important than the former.
There is currently nothing in the data set indicating whether a court serves a local, regional, or national (or even supranational, in the case of two observations) mandate. As a consequence, the Bundesverfassungsgericht is completely equal to the Staatsgerichtshof des Landes Hessen when looking at their parameters.
