Define that everpl API can be installed only for the entire domain with a specified port. Define that everpl API can't live inside some another website address like example.com/everpl/api_root_is_here, only in the domain root.

Such change allows to simplify a setup process greatly, to facilitate local discovery and simplify manual connection configuration in a client application.
