Archipack floor presets not appearing #312

Open Romes25 opened 2 years ago

Romes25 commented 2 years ago

Archipack version: 1.2.85

Blender version: 3.1

Os version: Windows 11

Description of the issue: I installed the archipack add-on in 3.1 and went straight ahead to render thumbnail presets. Everything else aside the floor meshes shows and works. When I try adding a floor, the thumbnails do not show and also when I click on any of the presets, the mesh does not appear in the viewport and then it generates this error message when I try changing anything for the floor.

I am having the same problem, emailed support on 12th of April

dont seem to be able to place floor

I see this was first reported 23 days ago .....

JASHIKO commented 2 years ago

Same problem here. Can't do floors or Slabs. They either vanish randomly, don't update, or simply don't appear.

alankd commented 2 years ago

still no fix - is this only on the free version? I am not going to buy unless i know this is fixed :-(

Romes25 commented 2 years ago

Not sure about the paid but I still experience the same issue with the free add-on. Could it be a 3.1 issue?

alankd commented 2 years ago

Could be :-)

I'm also experiencing this issue on archipack community version and blender 3.2, can create slabs but floors do not appear

Has the author died?

Grumpher commented 2 years ago

Has the author died?

They have replies atleast as recent as March that i've seen

alankd commented 2 years ago

which begs the question even more - why hasn't it been fixed I wonder? I am looking at completely abandoning it as it stopped me making progress on a formative project. Frustrating waste of time in my case :-(

Archipack "community" version rely on pretty poor donations for upgrades / maintenance, so, unfortunately you'll have to wait a bit more i guess.
