Hi, Velux like openings are planed, they require some more "roof cutter" segments styles to properly handle cuts for each component and build geometry for wood and metallic parts. Implementation planed as a regular window, managing cutter automatically like dormer opening does see this video

Until then, use a roof cutter to create opening and a regular window. see roof cutter
