First of all: Outstanding addon, I was happy to pay for it.
Now the issue:
Version: 0.93.2.beta.3 Blender: 3.0.1 OS: macOS 10.14.6
0.93.2.beta.3
3.0.1
10.14.6
shift
G
So I cant actually align to any grid, because there is some other local grid showing or something.
As a new user this is totally confusing to me an not what I would expect.
I'd expect the grid to stay the same and I can align the element on it.

And here are the 3 steps overlaid on top of another showing, that there are three grid shifts when performing this action.
