Decky Sunshine Loads Forever #32

Since the newest beta branch update to SteamOS I am no longer able to use Decky Sunshine, even when using the Stable branch after FDRing the device.

Sunshine runs in Desktop mode without problem. However when going to Decky Sunshine and toggling "Enable" I get a loading circle that never goes away. If I close the side panel and reopen it I will have the "Enable" option again.

Interstingly enough I can add Sunshine to Steam, boot in it gaming mode, and now Decky Sunshine will show the option to pair with a PIN while Sunshine is running in the background. However this is not a workaround as Sunshine will not capture the video correctly this way, Decky Sunshine simply recognizes that Sunshine is running. I can also close Sunshine in this method using Decky Sunshine.

Upon a fresh boot after deleting the logs I got this log file: Log 1.log

On the same boot after atttemping to enable a few more times no additional logs where generated. Sometimes the generated logs kinda spam that it is opening Sunshine, then Sunshine isn't running.

Have the same problem lately. Sunshine is always activated on decky in comparison to before and also it can’t be deactivated. Doesn’t show a reaction with the wrong or right login data. It only works in desktop mode at the moment.

Also having this issue , I was using this to play games together on 2 steamdecks . Both have stopped working , shows enabled and cannot be disabled .Also web UI cannot be accessed through browser while in gaming mode .

So I cleared my decky-configuration, reinstalled it and yeah, nothing. Shows 'enabled' on check, asks me to login but logging in doesn't work, and visiting the URL doesn't work so I assume it didn't install properly.

I am running into the exact same issue. I even installed the sunshine flatpak manually and can use it in desktop mode, but the decky plugin is not working
