A functions like Verilog's readmem*() might be quite handy and will facilitate
eventual TELL functions targeted for ROM programming and not only.
Actually it seems to be a good idea to read directly Verilog data files as they
are well defined, widely used and it is highly likely that the user won't need
intermediate steps for data file conversion.
