Android client crashes #33

When uploading files using the Android client, it still crashes and returns directly to the desktop. I am very sad. But it is already the latest version 1.2.10 I don't know what to do!

Thanks for report. Are you using E2E encryption? Can you please long tap on the version number and see if there is any error or warning in Logs? Did you find any pattern when it crashes and when it doesn't crash? Can you try uploading single file instead of multiple and see if it helps? What's your mobile phone model and how much RAM you have

I finally found out it was because of opening of E2E authentication service, After I close it, it will no longer flash back. The problem only occurs when the file is uploading at the same time openin' E2E service, . When I finally closed E2E, the other S3 logins services all disappeared, just the current one, How can this happen? I am disappointed. Do I have to re-enter the key to log in... I am so sad

Files under 100MB are encrypted using hardware accelerated encrypted scheme, it's fast but it requires memory to run. We plan to improve memory usage, so it won't fail as often, this will be improved once we get to this roadmap item: https://s3drive.canny.io/feature-requests/p/explore-support-for-xchacha20-poly1305

Speaking of E2E credentials removal. I am really sorry that you've experienced this issue. We've found that in fact there was an issue in this area. It's been already fixed by our team and will be released in 1.2.11 release. We're still during (beta) and whilst the ecosystem is getting more stable, there are still issues popping up. Thank you for reporting this, please don't get discouraged by issues like this.
