Use a minimal version of the Scala Library/SDK so the download size is less than 13 MB #12

So it beats Alpaca's plugin in size

Already beats it in style and functionality so shouldn't be too hard.

Mine: good

Better icons, time, etc. The idea to have different icons for the IDE was most likely taken from my plugin as my plugin employed it first.

tbh they're not your property and your idea is pretty unoriginal.

By the time your plugin was even a thing there was already editor plugins for VSC and Vim, but nobody accused you or Alpaca of stealing that because the idea (again) was pretty unoriginal.

I'm not speaking for alpaca, but if I may speak in his place, excuse him for not having the ability to make what you seem to confuse with art that doesn't use the same stuff your plugin does. Because let's be real, your idea, it's pretty unoriginal.

And btw, you can't beat alpaca's plugin in size because it uses normal java and yours uses scala, so best of luck defying basic relational algebra! 😃

@TheMonitorLizard Alpaca is stealing my ideas anyways; he changed his RPC name to JetBrains IDE which is what I had all along

As well as other features like lang icons.

The Scala library should be able to be condensed to a smaller version (as I've seen it done in other projects I think?) but it doesn't really need to be as a 13mb zip really isn't big

That's because he intended to support all jetbrains IDEs from the start, but named the application Intellij because he didn't realize it was going to be a thing.

Also I do hope you know that the stuff you're saying is pretty damning accusations. So I guess it's fair for me to say alpaca and you stole my idea, considering I own the oldest Discord Rich Presence Intellij Plugin repo on github! 😃

But hey man, if you want to live in your little bubble where nobody can compete and say shit like this: be my guest dude, just don't get upset and whine when people come and call you out for it! 😃

Hey @TsundereBug the Almighty Alpaca had the idea before you well it was @TheMonitorLizard who gave him this idea where the RPC and IPC wasnt as good implemented as yet. I dont know if you chat with both too very often but i cant count how often TML said "IJ IDEA Discord RPC plugin" and one day, i think you cant compare dates. Alpaca opened the repo one day before you and his one is sadly way better supported and yours has pretty ugly icons and a shitty background. Idk why you made a even worse clone. Live in your bubble and dont think Scala is better than Java. JVM languages are cool and some have good features but Kotlin has most Scala features and can do

Just because I gave him icons doesn't mean I gave him code or ideas.

I've publicly listed all of the libraries and assets that I use.

It's copying me and then rating me down that I have a problem with. If I see you use something I explicitly provided that's cool, but if you're just going to copy me because why not, that's annoying and insulting.

This isn't saying that everything Alpaca has done is just copying me, but it seems that way when I do something and Alpaca implements it a short time after.

For example, changing the RPC name to "JetBrains IDE" felt like an attempt to mimic/impersonate my plugin.

Well the icons are in the official discord press kit too. Thats not giving its more like copy pasta. You are a total meme. Please get a life. Also idk what you changed but ik that Alpaca isnt just copying you. Well it looks other way round. And i dont want to bitch fight you but uh.

I'm trying to find something to relate it to.

Let's say I'm developing my own bot, TsundereBot for example. Then I notice a bot Alpaca is developing, AlpacaBot. TsundereBot is in a different language and using a different lib but since I like features from AlpacaBot I'll take those features and implement them. Eventually I decide to rename the bot to AlpacaBot but keep the avatar the same.

That's really what this feels like, but flipped.

And I'm sorry it doesn't feel this way to you; maybe you've never been in this situation. If I were to receive a clear, official statement from Alpaca about why he added IDE icons after me and why he changed the RPC name to JetBrains IDE, I'd probably feel a lot better about this.
