More user-friendly profiles #16

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

This is not an RFE to my needs. I’m fine editing pipelines myself.

Maybe it is possible to use the more user-friendly profile dialogs that Banshee
has[1].
I can imagine that that is more difficult to port than just using gnome-media,
but this is a converter app for non-experts after all and people might want to,
or have to, tweak settings.

This really needs to handle upstream in gnome-media. It makes no sense to do it
within
a nautilus extension, since a lot of projects (sound-juicer, rhythmbox, etc)
make use
of it. Sadly, Aaron wrote his work in Mono and almost 3 years later and as far
as I'm
aware Banshee is the only project that uses it.
