You need cover images in 1:1 square dimensions, you are using Box covers 3:4 or other size.

In desktop mode settings, go to grid view settings and set cover images aspect ratio to 1:1 and download new cover metadata with right dimensions, IGN or PSN store metadata plugin for images

You still have wrong cover images, you need 1:1 images, not vertical box covers

Means you need to download images which has dimensions like 512x512 etc... PSN metadata can download these images or IGN metadata

Mortal Kombat is not 1:1 square cover

I have no other idea how to explain it to you, that ALL games must have 1:1 cover images.
