trial edX peer review component earlier in the course #37

I experimented with a wiki editing assignment because I didn't trust the edX peer review component, and I love the flexibility of the wiki, however the students seemed to have put their submissions in at least three different places which pushes me back towards the peer component, but now we've started this think in the wiki it's too late - I'm going to follow up with a slack related assignment to get discussion going about the wiki.

Maybe I should have used the forum - what we really should do is road test the pair video peer review here with the TAs before we unleash on the main MOOC

Between two successive runs of the course there was also one additional variable, i.e. a 'HW1 Parent Page' stub (under which articles could be created); setting aside the issue of which Wiki is ultimately used (i.e. a unique one for each course v/s a link to the original Wiki) the existence of a stub and/or a sample assignment submission seems to help tame the anxiety about unknowns that leads to procrastination...
