Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to Freephonie
2. Certificat accepted
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Siphon sometimes is Ok, I succeed to call 3 times someone but sometimes
said "registration error time out" or "Invalid URI (PJSIP-Einvaliduri)"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
beta 5 on firmware 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I try in 2 different place. I will try other places

Could you test with several value for register timeout ? (300, 600, 3200)
You change this parameter in advanced settings of Siphon.

In facts, I think that the time it seems to work with freephonie was due to an
auto
change of the wifi from freephonie to my own wifi.

Reading some forums, it seems that server (domain) has to be set to
172.17.20.241 and
that send outbound has to be done via server (domain) to be able to call with
freephonie wifi connection.

How to set send outbound via the server ?
How to set at least 3 profiles : one my own freebox or free access wifi, one for
freephonie and one for an other provider ?

For the moment, I just allow to define proxy in advanced settings. I can add a
new
parameter in the next version for outbound proxy.

For the moment, Siphon just accepts one account. In the future version, I will
add
several accounts.

I tested yesterday, the registration is OK, and :
  - you can't call (sip message is transmitted but there are no answer from server)
  - you can receive a call

I correct a bug in my code so now if the proxy parameter is defined in
settings, it
is used in Siphon.
To use Siphon on Freephonie Wifi network, you need to define prixy with same
server
address: 172.17.20.241
