Activate eraser #944

Motivation

Currently, you must click on the eraser to activate it. This requires more movements.

Solution

Add an option to:

1) Double tap pen to activate eraser 2) Hold two fingers to activate eraser 3) Another option

Works for any pen/stylus.

I have Galaxy tab

Currently, the behavior of the erase button on the spen is a little weird and by that i mean

First you need to press the pen to the screen and then press the button to activate the erasser.

If it's possible to change that behavior to:

Press the button to activate the eraser Press on the screen to erase

I think that would be good to fix.

The reason why I didn't mention any button pressing is that I wanted it to work with any device/pen.

IIRC this is a problem with Flutter, and not likely to be patched soon, unfortunately. I agree that a two-finger tap or hold gesture would be a good interim solution.
