tint2 segfaults when moving a window to a new view (workspace) in wmii #253

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start an application on workspace 1 (workspace 2 does not exist at that
time)
2. retag it with Mod1+Shift+2 (workspace 2 gets created and the focused
client is moved to that workspace)
3. tint2 crashes...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A new taskbar should appear with the retagged client on it.
Instead tint segfaults:

[1]    15859 segmentation fault (core dumped)  tint2

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

tint2 version 0.9rc1 on Archlinux.

there is many fixed since tin2-0.9
can you test it with tint2 latest SVN ?

can't reproduce the crash here with tint2-svn-r462 and wmii-3.6 on Ubuntu 9.04 
and
10.04 (with default wmii config).
- witch version are you using
- can you reproduce the bug on each try
  if so, post you tint2 config file

I use the latest mercurial version of wmii and also tint2-svn-r462. The tint2 
config
doesn't seem to be the issue because I also tried it with the default config. 
Maybe
it's a wmii bug.

Basically same problem here. tint2 doesn't always crash, but too often.
A friend of mine has the same problem with awesome...

tint2 version 0.11+svn20110307
wmii-3.9.2

Thank you for the report, and sorry for the lack of activity. We would like to 
know if this issue still affects anyone, otherwise we will close the bug.

Some recent commits addressed various segfaults in tint2.
