Enhancement request: OCR #247

Hi, I have been using Ditto for some years now and it is a gamechanger for my workflow. I was wondering if you have plans to add OCR capabilities as well? Here is an open source app doing the same: https://sourceforge.net/projects/capture2text/

This will be a great feature as more and more users are using markdown based note taking services.

This would be a big undertaking for Ditto's two developers, and would open Ditto up to a lot of support headaches as users wouldn't be able to distinguish between Ditto issues and whatever OCR engine the Ditto developers would choose.

Now, if a corporate sponsor would step in and fund this RFE I'm sure it could be arranged.... ;-)

Thanks @smbrannon. Yes, and there may not be a great value add for the most end users either.

Nonetheless, Ditto is a great tool and thanks to the team for creating such an effective tool.
