Feature request: Option to expire paste entries after a few minutes #248

Ditto is very useful when you are working on organizing a document or for programming, when there are a lot of things to cut and paste. Most of the time we don't need the paste entries longer than 15 minutes. The minimum period (i.e. 1 day) is way too long, especially if there is sensitive content. Could we please have an option to expire the paste entries after 15 minutes or 0.01 days?

Hi there, I have the same concern. I find 1 day to be far too long a minimum deletion period.

I think it'd be better to set this field to be hours, and better yet, minutes. People who desire long expiration periods will still be able to set them as such, and people who need shorter ones will be taken care of, too.

Would really appreciate this setting being made more granular.

Edit: Oh my goodness, I see I created an issue for this already back in 2021. Well, I am consistent!
