Ditto is an extension to the Windows Clipboard. You copy something to the Clipboard and Ditto takes what you copied and stores it in a database to retrieve at a later time.
According to me, the function of the wildcard characters is to shorten searches. For example, if a word starts with “Fun”, and there is another word that has those letters but in the middle of the sentence, but I only want it to filter me those that start with “Fun”, the wildcard search would work.
I would type “Fun*” with an asterisk at the end, but it doesn't work, it doesn't show results.
