it would be nice to be able to disable the default behavior which zooms on double-click. A setting for it would be enough but honestly, even if I am no UX expert, I would disable it by default because double-clicking by mistake (even on blank spaces, which can be disastrous!) is really easy and on laptops (where many people don't know about gestures, I myself learned about them in my 30s!) without a mouse wheel it's very difficult to get back to a good view (#21).
This zooming behavior also conflicts with the single-clicking behavior of showing the command palette, so I personally think it's for the best if it's removed altogether. Also because mouse users can already zoom with the mouse wheel and touchpad and touchscreen users can already zoom with gestures.

Thank you for listening, have a nice day.
