I think we should leave it, it keeps the player on their toes, maybe they missed a patient or one wandered off into the corner of the hospital, keep it like the original I say.
I think you have got the wrong end of the stick as it were. The timer ends anyway if an infected patient goes home. What I am saying is once you have cured everyone that is infected, could the timer end then too? If everyone is cured there is no chance of someone being missed is there.
Originally I did have it so it ended when all were cured. But I think it's best to keep it how it is. I didn't mean some could still be infected just keeping the timer keeps the player wondering rather than finishing straight away.
This is a suggestion, as I wondered whether we should have the timer finish if the epidemic is covered up and there is no chance of it spreading to anyone else.
This is not what happens in TH, but then again for emergencies it doesn't and we let that happen in CorsixTH.
For the game I am in now, there were two in the epidemic and I cleared it before the time was a quarter done, but now have to wait for it to end to get the Inspector visit and compensation and during this time there are no new epidemics or emergencies.
