Facebook - UpdateStatus call only updates the users wall. Need something to update timeline so that others can see as well.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.adapter.updateStatus method invoked
2.adapter.uploadImageAsync method invoked

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

updateStatus only updates the user's wall. need to determine if this function ( 
or a different function ) can be used to update the user's timeline in 
Facebook. Right now when updateStatus is called, the user only can view the 
update status call. The update process is working correctly. However, any other 
friends who are linked to the user cannot see the update status call message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

socialauth-android-sdk-2.6
windows xp

Please provide any additional information below.

The ShareButtonActivity example works fine to update wall. Need to determine if 
there is a different function call that would be leveraged to update the 
timeline so that others who are linked as friends can see the update as well.

Hi,

Currently the api supports posting to user wall only.

Posting on user timeline is not available. We are taking it as enhancement and 
will take decision to include the feature in upcoming versions.

we will post status on this thread.

Hello...out of curiosity, would this enhancement be coming anytime soon?...This 
would be an crucial piece for the app I am building...I love the ease of use 
with social auth, but need to consider alternatives if still unavailable...

Hi , we have decided not to work on this issue. as there is speculation of 
major change in facebook api flow in next 2 months.
