Having the option to change to satellite view.

Still needs a place in the menu.

Atm satellite view can be toggled with the S key.

Thanks for the shortkey.
Unfortunately I'm using HTC Magic and don't have any keyboard while usong the 
program.

There is a APK-download there with the latest revision of the program. In this
version the satellite view can be accessed by the menu. It should be under 
"Overlays". 
(the bottom 3 options don't do anything yet, please ignore those. ;) )

It updates your Market install and retains all your previous data.
