It's the first time I encounter that someone has this issue with installing multinichenetr, so I have no clear solution yet. Based on the error message, I would dig deeper into the installation of Cairo and try to decipher what Cairo' not found: maybe not installed for this architecture? means and how you could solve it.

Thanks for your reply. I do not work on a Mac. And I have no clue why it doesn't work. I tried to install it on 2 desktops and 1 does not allow me to install it while the other one does. I have reinstalled Cairo on the pc where it doesn't work and it still doesn't work. Luckily I can use the other pc to try multinichenetr. Looking forward to the results that I will obtain using it!

Hi,
I have been trying to install multinichenetr but it keeps giving me the same errors. This is the error message:
building package indices installing vignettes testing if installed package can be loaded from temporary location ** arch - i386 arch - x64 Error: package or namespace load failed for 'multinichenetr': .onLoad failed in loadNamespace() for 'Cairo', details: call: library.dynam("Cairo", pkgname, libname) error: DLL 'Cairo' not found: maybe not installed for this architecture? Error: loading failed Execution halted ERROR: loading failed for 'x64'
I have already re-installed Cairo and I tried to use different versions of R. Nothing seems to work. My current R version is 4.0.4. I have also tried to install with the "dependencies=TRUE" option but this also didn't work. Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue?
