Bought BTC on Pancake, wanted Safemoon, what now? #55

Okay, so I found Safemoon very hard to buy. Once someone posted very easy directions, I figured it out, then Pancake wouldn't accept my debit card. Upon finding I was having issues with that card everywhere, I had to wait until funds cleared my bank & use a different card. That took several days. In that time, I'd forgotten how to purchase so went thru my internet history & picked up from there, entered my card # & before I knew it, a purchase was completed without giving me the opportunity to confirm. Once the receipt hit my email, I'd found I'd purchased $75 in BTC rather than in Smartmoon or in BNB (which apparently I need to purchase Smartmoon). So now I'm extremely confused on how to convert my BTC into Smartmoon OR into BNB. If I'm reading this right, it can only be converted into the assets which are paired in the app. There are no paired assets for BTC/USD, BTC/BNB, BTC/Safemoon, etc & I see no paths such as converting it to one thing than to another, and finally into BNB, then Safemoon. I'd be willing to convert several times to get there if necessary... I just want the safemoon!

Any ideas?

If you have an account at crypto.com you can easily transfer your BTC there, convert to bnb, then send it to the wallet you're trying to purchase safemoon on. Swap the bnb to smartchain in your wallet, and then head to pancake to get safemoon. :)

Thank you, I will try that. Crypto.com is about the only trading app I do not have due to the reviews at the playdat play store, but I'm going to try it. I've downloaded it & submitted my documentation. Just awaiting approval.

YOU ARE A GENIUS! I was able to convert my BTC to USDT with no fees, AND didn't even have to go to Pancake but purchased Safemoon from there also. But now I'm skittish about where to go from here. May the crypto.com powers be with me!

Now, anyone knowledgeable about the Coinbase Wallet? I want to transfer my chainlink from there to either Coinbase or Coinbase Pro, but once I get to the point where it tells me about the fees, which is fine, what then? I have ETH in there, so...??? The fee screen pops up to tell me it charges me in ETH to transfer out of the wallet to either CB or CBP (which I feel is not right as it's the same developer) but whatever. I know I have enough.

I sat on the chat for a solid hour (I went in the queue at #265 - 1st time) & when I reached the high 100's it disconnected & told me to tap to reconnect - then bounced me to the end of the line higher than where I was the first time. I tried this for DAYS & never got thru. Only felt like throwing my phone.

Same was true for phone calls. Emails, no responses.

So, I'm stuck. You can transfer your assets in, but can't get them out.

Any ideas on that one?

Yeah right now it's insane how expensive it is to transfer anything across the ethereum blockchain. I would wait. Although you can probably convert through the coinbase wallet, like to BTC, then transfer that out. Probably be cheaper which is bizarre.

I've never really had an issue with crypto/com until it locked out a Chase card. So I have to bounce between exchanges to get what I need as well. Then coinbase did the same to an aspiration card. Good times.

If you're just trying to get at bnb and safemoon, the simplest way is probably crypto bnb. Besides that, if you're already fiddling around with BSC, you can just swap whatever for it on pancake.

A couple weeks ago I sent sake through sakeswaps new bridge and that was fairly simple as well. Then again, ether fees were too high at that time as well, but I bet they'll be even worse now. At least that's another way to transfer liquidity between chains. And it didn't hurt as much as moving 1inch liquidity around.

I'm kind of afraid to put anything in the coinbase wallet given my experience with Chainlink. I put 25 coins in, and can't get them out. I get to a screen that tells me the fees, and explaining I need ETH to transfer (which I did put in), but then it goes nowhere.

Granted it's on a different chain (Chainlink is ETH & Safemoon is BEP20) but I don't want to keep putting things in and having the wallet holding it all hostage. Especially since I can't reach anyone.
