One of our forms was for election results, and was effectively a table of
numbers. Is there any better way to do this besides one question per cell in
the table (e.g. "How many votes for UP in the presidential race?")

you can do multiple questions per screen and make each screen a column or two.
the ideal solution is to build some sort of table widget.

Hello,

I have been having some hands-on on my xforms and getting on well with it.
We are currently about to do some research and would be using the system for
data collection. I am busily working on some questionnaires for the platform
now.

However, i'm having some troubles transcribing some tables into the xforms. I
have worked and had some ideas/solutions though but thought you could be advice
best on how to go about it. Through the night i have been able to do half of
the questionnaire and see a there is going to be enormous data in the exported
results. I just downloaded a preview of the results and see about 14 pages of
the excel sheet though i'm not yet done transcribing every question.

I would be glad if you could assist with some ideas on this. I'm still doing
some findings too on possible simpler ways to do this.
I hope to hear favorably from you soon.

Please find attached a sample of the questionnaire and results sheet.

The core team does not have the resources to create this widget. If you
contribute one back, we will add it to the main code tree.
