/cc @codepathreview @codepath Please Review my initial submission of ToDo List App. I am working towards adding all the optional features as well as any improvement to the overall user experience of the app. I would appreciate your valuable comments.

Hi Sagar,

Thanks for applying and submitting your pre-work. Based on your LinkedIn, your background indicates you have a significant amount of existing Android development experience. We appreciate you applying to participate, however our Android bootcamp is optimized for senior engineers without significant existing experience in Android.

Furthermore, since we have a limited number of seats, we like to optimize our impact by selecting people that have the most to benefit from participating. To be clear, those with significant Android experience can still benefit from the program but not as significantly as those that don't.

If you are interested in iOS development, you might enjoy applying to our iOS bootcamp. Alternatively, let me know if you'd like access to the course self-paced as a remote observer so you can work on the projects on your own time.

Let me know if I have misunderstood your existing Android experience and thanks for your understanding.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I understand that this boot-camp is targeted for Senior Engineer without significant Android experience. Although, I have Android experience mostly in the Framework layer , Native ( library) layer and Linux kernel layer ( driver), I have little to few experience in the App Development side of Android. I have written few simple apps as a part of my work ( e.g related to settings that interacts with framework, logging etc) but not significant apps utilizing major UI/UX components, styles, themes, animations, layouts etc. I was hoping that I would learn key concepts in this area as well as several other areas of app development listed in curriculum http://courses.codepath.com/snippets/intro_to_android/about_bootcamp#heading-curriculum-outline ( like Map Service, Geotagging, Camera features etc ). Also the hands on projects and live instructions with mentor would be pretty helpful for me.

I would like access to the course self paced as a remote observer. If possible, I would like to be in the wait-list, should anything change at the last moment.

Again, thanks for taking the time to go through my profile and application.

Regards Sagar

Thanks for the detailed overview. I will put you on the wait list which means you may be able to participate but if not, you'll be automatically given remote observer status and can follow along self-paced.
