provide stable revision numbers for time travel history #2679

Robert Brijder -- Not really a bug, but I find it quite confusing that the revision number in the Time Travel feature is dependent on whether "Load All History" is clicked or not. Asking a collaborator via chat about revision X results in much confusion when one has this clicked and the other one no.

NOTE: this is likely pretty difficult to implement. It might be relatively easy, but only for newly created files, which might be enough.

I think this can be done, but of course the revision number would have to get stored along with each snapshot. It'll be some work, and potentially pretty painful when that data isn't there.
