x11 libreoffice modal dialog does not show cursor in text entry fields #3407

Seen with macOS 10.13.6 (17G65) and Chrome 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit). See also #3406.

Start a .x11 tab.
Click the launch button for LibreOffice.
Select Tools > Options, for example. The LibreOffice / User Data dialog pops up.
Click in the first text field, Company:. Note that no cursor appears. You can start typing however, and it shows up in the dialog.

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no clue at all how to fix something like this. The cursor is not something that the frontend client has any control over. This might take a long time, or some new inspiration...
