In the official "Oculus Browser", it's not possible to get a keyboard to appear or be activated at all with xterm.js, so it is a different but just as bad problem. Even using a bluetooth keyboard doesn't activate xterm.js. Hmm....
"Virtual Desktop" works perfectly, but that isn't really fair since it requires a laptop that is on to use on your network.
This is an upstream bug, as it also happens on the demo at the official xtermjs website.
Editing text files in cocalc (via codemirror) does work fine.
WORKAROUND: In mobile mode with the Firefox Reality browser, everything works fine. Unfortunately, this is only used in a standalone .term tab and not in a term frame.
