Split cell not working #5919

When I select split cell from the File menu while editing a text cell - nothing happens.

This applies to CoCalc. com as well as to Docker-CoCalc (tested with Chrome on Win10)

Hmm. I use split cell all the time and it does work for me. Please make your support request precise... e.g., one might guess you're talking about Jupyter notebooks, and yet cocalc Jupyter at least doesnt' even have a "split cell" option in the File menu.

Provide screenshots and step by step instructions to reproduce.

I am using a Jupyter Notebook https://cocalc.com/share/public_paths/25ef0e4765b42c2fa123b82d64ab7f09db8d3a08 and the split cell command from the Edit (not File, sorry) menu. I am using a German Chrome 101.0.4951.54

Thanks. I can’t reproduce this problem, unfortunately. It works fine for me.
