when editing in task lists there are still issues with keyboard handling state #7660

E.g., I was just editing a task list item and went to type "i" and it didn't appear. Nothing appeared to happen. I then focused the search filter, then went back to editing the task item, and it worked fine again.

I was using the slate editor.
