It's purpose is to make it as easy as possible to use open source math software collaboratively and to create stable funding for developers to improve open source math software. The code powering SageMathCloud is completely open source. Users create projects, a collaborative Linux environment with user friendly file editors for Sage worksheets, Jupyter Notebooks, LaTex, chats, command line terminals, and traditional file editing. Projects can be created for free. We offer subscriptions to upgrade these projects to use members only hosting, internet resources directly, more space/RAM/CPU. Our efficiency strategies allow educators and researchers to do computation cheaper than if they ran their own cloud infrastructure.
