Hi amandabouveng.

Thanks for the pr. Watching data-files would be really useful. I am having some issues with the current pr:

• It breaks the current configuration, which means this would be a major version bump, since it would break any others setup
• In some cases i need to pass in the data directly, in order to configure the data with variables available to webpack. This would not be possible by passing path names

I would suggest we support both input-types

• a list of paths (and maybe objects) and
• keep the original feature to add data directly
