countdown timer and page lifecyle = annoying if you switch off #121

if you stay in the do lift or today screen, because we keep alive in those tabs the countdown timer doesn't reset but if you visit another page, it does reset. use provider i guess. maybe when i have more caffeine :)

fix the sizing thing too - look at landscape for example
