What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install latest WebGL Earth (commit id 84b39368bd6673cacd39)
2. Visit weapp/main.html with Chrome on Linux and manipulate globe so poles are
visible
3. Observe flickering artefacts

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see correct rendering, but see lots of errors.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WebGL Earth at 84b39368bd6673cacd39.
Chrome 10.0.648.133 on Ubuntu Linux 10.04

This should be fixed in 5d46994206335361a2b2. Unfortunately, I'm unable to
recreate the issue on my system - please, verify the fix worked.

Thanks

5d46994206335361a2b2 reduces the problem, but visual artefacts are still
visible. The fickering still occurs, but probably only on about 10% of all
frames, even when the sphere is not being manipulated. It's hard to capture a
screenshot, but here is one.

Yes, this seems to work.

Note that there is now a one pixel white line drawn at +/- 180 degrees
longitude which appears at some orientations.
