Hi Sahib,

awesome work on the duplicate file finding. Ran fdupes before and now yours and I've never seen such hard-drive spikes on the System Monitor before.

May I suggest you assign to some version that you assume to be working reasonably well a version number (even if it starts with 0. and thus indicating a software still in development) and release a .tar.gz somewhere. I think that would encourage distributions to include your tool.

I just wrote an ebuild for my Gentoo system (here: https://github.com/Miriup/dirks-overlay/tree/before-efreet/app-misc/rmlint), but when I'd submit an ebuild-addition-bug they will probably delay forever, because they don't like ebuilds fetching git sources in the main-tree.

And I'd donate my cent if I only knew how and where to. You have a PayPal maybe?

Cheers, Dirk.

Hi there!

I pushed a tag (1.0.6b, which is the current version) to github, so you can download a readily packaged:

Seems I forgot to include the link in the README. It was in glyr's README though:

Thank you very much for your cent :-)

Take care, Chris
