Youtube api v3 activities totalResults changes with changing maxResults

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. GET 
https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/activities?part=id&channelId=UCpcsv3Ow-8Ih
oUGDEfPetsQ&maxResults=5&key={YOUR_API_KEY}
2. GET 
https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/activities?part=id&channelId=UCpcsv3Ow-8Ih
oUGDEfPetsQ&maxResults=50&key={YOUR_API_KEY}

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Look at the pageInfo->totalResults it changes with changing maxResults.
Shouldn't it remain same.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
