The figure curves, colors and comments were fixed / extended for cs3.

The literature review table 1 was vetted a second time, and small changes were made to insure accuracy. a description of each column for table 1 was added.

to increase the size of figures, the following two lines were added to the set up chunk: out.width = "\textwidth", out.extra = "keepaspectratio=true"

where keepaspectratio keeps the figure looking good, but some of them may be too large now. I left it as is for now.

It seems that travis failed again, was this ever fixed?
