Tabs on XP not working properly since Release 2.4

Is it reproducible?
Yes
If yes, what steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install V2.4 or V2.5 and tabs working properly along with other 7 plus 
features
2. Hit Ctrl + T on a tab, couple minutes later, see a container too small 
error. 
3. Tried installing this on other machines with same setup and same issues.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using (Binary/Source/32/64bit)? On what
operating system (XP,Vista,7,32/64bit)?
Windows XP

What is the language of your operating system/keyboard language?
English

Will need to test on XP...but I'm not putting much focus on it to be honest, 
since that system is more than 10 years old by now.
