I suggest to add a function for maximizing windows into a slice of the screen.
Something like AquaSnap:
http://www.nurgo-software.com/products/aquasnap

This is useful for modern widescreen monitors.

That's a useful feature indeed. I might consider it for the future, no 
guarantees though. While we're at that, it would also be good to support 
snapping to other windows along with it. There's already an AHK script out 
there that does this, I'll see if I can dig it up.

Keyboard shortcuts are not easy to remember for me.
I've found the AquaSnap approach more intuitive.

WindowPadX is a AHK application which manages windows nicely ;)
