Toggle Hidden Files stopped working, and other bugs.. reinstall? Backup settings first? Conflict check? #411

Is it reproducible?

If yes, what steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to toggle hidden files... either using hotkey trigger or context menu
2. Selecting context menu entries doesn't add toggle hidden files to context
(b/g dir or dir context menu)
3. Further investigation revealed that I've lost a partition ... showing now as
free disk space, attempting recovery. Very possible that this is the cause of
this (and other application) issue(s).

Monitoring and will report back...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect indication of command success
(like alwaysontop indicator, but hidden files: on|off)
ie failure/success (+ status, ie show|hide)

Instead zero feedback, and no context menus added to standard/extended context
menu...

Just spotted and successfully installed shell extensions, whilst enabling all
context criteria (desktop, desktop bg, folder context)... still no
functionality.

What version of the product are you using (Binary/Source/32/64bit)? On what
operating system (XP,Vista,7,32/64bit)?

win7 ultimate x64

What is the language of your operating system/keyboard language?

en-US I think

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier!

Have you been able to solve your problem yet?

7plus usually stores its configuration data in %appdata%\7plus.
If you want to reset 7plus settings you can delete or rename this directory
while 7plus is not running.

For toggling hidden files 7plus changes the corresponding registry setting and
refreshes the current window. It's possible that there is a permission issue
with the registry key or with accessing the exposed COM APIs of Explorer, but I
think this is rather unlikely.
