The alfresco-totp-authenticator for sharing is a very cool feature, but it doesn't cover all other authentication scenarios like WebDAV, SMTP, (CIFS,) ....
Maybe it is much more than a simple new feature, but would help to increase security in the whole system - not only for Alfresco Share:
It would be great if your module would implement an authentication subsystem acting like a proxy which could then be accessed for all supported protocols to optionally configure alternative multiple application keys (generated very long passwords which would allow to bypass the second factor for protocols which do not support it).
