unclear about what is meant by start approximating hours... #130

I recently purchased battery-indicator pro and especially like the time 
settings and the one percent hack option on my Motorola Razr Maxx.  But for the 
life of me I can't figure out what you mean when you offer "When  to 
Approximate" under Time Settings.  What are the advantages/disadvantages of the 
different hours?  Leaves me confused and
I so appreciate your app I'd like to use this part of it, too.
