Back then, when FileCase slipped into an unmaintained state, on necessary workaround was to substitute sdfolder in line 28 of FoldersPanel.qml by a working path for SailfishOS ≥ 2.2.0. (Side note: The other issue mentioned there is fixed as suggested back then).

I failed to retrace, if sdfolder has been altered to point to a valid path elsewhere, and still have to test the recent RPMs, because they only seem to be available at GitHub (where I never came across them; just right now) and not any longer at OpenRepos, where FileCase was originally published and updated.
Edit: Found the fixing PR https://github.com/CepiPerez/filecase-sailfish/pull/5.
P.S.: I will try to suggest FileCase for the SailfishOS:Chum community repository. Edit: Did that at https://github.com/sailfishos-chum/main/issues/66
