@CepiPerez, here is my primary license suggestion (the MPL-2.0) as a Pull Request (PR) for easy integration.
If you prefer the Apache-2.0 licence instead or any other OSI approved license, please let me know.
Also if you would like to receive license PRs for your other software at GitHub, I will gladly pose them that after this PR has been merged.
As @rinigus mentioned, nobody sane will reuse unlicensed code for legal reasons. Thus carrying no license is blocking your code from being (re-)used (and thereby "living on") and is a no-go for its integration to the SailfishOS:Chum source code repository.
