Hey! first i love your theme, thanks you ! do you know if it's possible to upload your theme in flatpak-themes repository since elementaryos has now "full" flatpak integration ?

saint-13 commented 3 years ago

Hi there. thank you for using my theme. TBH I don't know nothing about flatpaks! but, let me see what i can do.

saint-13 commented 3 years ago

there is program named pakitheme that automatically install your host GTK+ theme as a Flatpak on your machine. so it can be temporary solution.

zombie-bear commented 3 years ago

thanks! i will test it :D

zombie-bear commented 3 years ago

hey! When trying to use pakitheme, it return me an error "Invalid theme name (may only contain letters, digits, '_', '-'): Elemactary.grape" i tried to rename the folder name, but the error stay the same :/. Do you know in which folder you might have encode the name ?

saint-13 commented 3 years ago

as far as i know, renaming folder that contains theme, will changes theme's name. so you can rename Elemactary.grape > ElemactaryGrape it should work well.

thanks you for your fasts and kinds answers, but unfortunately the script run well and "install" the theme, but when i open an app, the theme is still gnome/flatpak default blank theme :/ . Maybe flatpak app have a different "architecture" ( i mean how to tell the program to display color, bar height, ... don't know if it's the right terms ) for them .css files ? if you don't have time to look at this problem, it's ok. I will wait to see how others themes work-around the problem :)

actually i searched a little bit, but i have no idea how to make flatpak themes, or how to upload them on flathub! try other themes like this and see if they works. it also recommend using pakitheme. please let me know if they works or not. thanks.
