Loading haplotype Groups not working #2

Open MichaelSanJose opened 8 years ago

MichaelSanJose commented 8 years ago

I have a dataset of 1480 individuals that i want to visualize 2 ways (dividing into 19 groups corresponding to locality and 2 groups corresponding to species). I can load the TCS graph file and visualize the network but when I try to load the haplotype file to designate the groupings it fails to load. I get no change in the groupings (everything default) but it seems to load fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Michael

Thanks for using tcsBU. Let me first ask you a few questions: a) what version are you using? The one available online or the 'downloadable' version. I ask this because it may be a reason for failure, as the latter clashes sometimes with limitations of browsers. b) what browser are you using (this matters as old browsers are not supported... and very new browsers are not tested).

Finally, the most probable cause is the formatting of the haplotype file. Did you check that? If you can send me the three files (graph, haplotype and groups) I don't mind checking that for you. You can jam or remove sequences from the graph file if disclosing them is problematic (sequences are not used in the graph building)

Best regards

Antonio
