Appfinder (magnifying glass) icon disappears from bottom panel after update #34
The recent (15-Dec-2017) package autobuild included a refresh of the gnome-icon-theme; one side effect of this is that the 'application finder' icon will disappear from the bottom launcher panel on the desktop, leaving a blank square, when your system next auto-updates via genup. Clicking the empty square still launches appfinder, but it looks ugly.
The issue is easy to fix: right click on the blank square, and from the context menu, select Properties. In the Launcher window that then appears, make sure the Application Finder item is selected, then click on the Delete icon (red circle with a cross) to temporarily remove it (confirm when prompted). Then, leaving the Launcher window open, click on the Add icon (blue plus), select Application Finder from the presented list, and click + Add to confirm. Close out the Launcher dialog.
