I'm working on a Fedora package for this extension. When I try to enable it I get this error.
GLib.FileError: Failed to open file “/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/mediacontrols@cliffniff.github.com/schemas/gschemas.compiled”: open() failed: No such file or directory

The gschema xml file is installed to /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.gnome.shell.extensions.spotifylabel.gschema.xml, which gets compiled with all other system extensions into /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/gschemas.compiled when the package is installed. Every other gnome extension available as a Fedora package accepts this setup, so it's surprising that this extension doesn't.
